As many of you know, SMARC does everything we can to try and give back to the community and those that help support us as well. Below you will find a few volunteering opportunities to organizations that help support SMARC in many fashions.
The DAV:
The DAV gives us a fantastic rate for our meeting space. To help pay them back for their generosity we enlist some members to drive for them to pickup disabled veterans that have no other way to attend the DAV’s various functions.
You don’t have to have a special license or insurance and you do not have to use your own insurance or vehicle to volunteer. All you need to do is have a valid Missouri drivers license and pass a small physical required by their insurance. That’s it! Then you’ll be helping those who help SMARC!
