SMARC

Southwest Missouri Amateur Radio Club

Monthly Meetings

The Southwest Missouri Amateur Radio Club is a club dedicated to the amateur radio hobby and all it encompasses! From monthly meetings, quarterly Tech Days, participation in Winter and Summer Field Day, special events, boot camps, RT66 OTA! as W6R, vintage computing and POTA groups; SMARC has something going on every month of the year to satisfy almost any corner of the hobby you may enjoy. We also get our hands dirty with repairs, antenna building, programming and testing. SMARC is also an ARRL special service club and provides testing to those looking to learn and get their license or upgrade it. Oh, we also get on the radio and talk too!

SMARC meets every 3rd Saturday of the month at the Salvation Army Headquarters in Springfield at the corner of Kansas Expressway and Chestnut Expressway. Testing starts at 4pm and the official meeting starts at 5pm. No need to be a member to come to testing or a meeting, it is open to the public at all times!

If you’d like any more information on our meetings, events or other interests; reach out to us using the “Contact Us” tab above. We can’t wait to see you there!
