Normally SMARC has a station setup at Route 66 Park on College Street, just west of the Square in Springfield. We will not be doing that this year.

Instead Jordan, N0RK, has invited everyone to his house to work Route 66 On the Air, and for a BBQ!!

Jordan is doing lunch & dinner for us; he will provide the meat, and drinks. He asks that everyone else bring 1-2 side dishes. Lunch will be hotdogs, and dinner will be chicken.

He will also have plenty of room to have a test bench area setup. If you have radios that you haven’t had on the air for a while, or do not get to use often, bring them, and Jordan will hook them up for you! So plan to bring your radios, and other gear!

The event begins at 12:00Pm on Sunday, Sept. 9th, and will go till about 10:00pm, or when ever people start going home. Jordan lives at: 3611 N Farm Road 147, Springfield, MO 65803, just north of the zoo on old 13. I have been to Jordan’s house before, and it’s really easy to find.
