-The Southwest Missouri Amateur Radio Club Meeting is held on the third Saturday of each month, at 5:00pm.
We meet at the American Red Cross Southern Missouri Regional Offices, at the corner of West Bypass & Division, in Springfield, MO. Testing will also be available at 3:00pm for anyone wanting to get their technician license, or upgrade to a General or Extra class license. The fee for the tests is $15.

Any one that is interested in becoming a licensed amateur radio operator should attend a meeting, or testing session. You do not have to already have your license, or be a club member to attend. Everyone is welcome including friends, family, and children. A meal is usually prepared by an outstanding cook. Guest are welcome to stay to eat.

Recently the US House of Representatives passed the H.R. 1301 bill “without objection” This is a big step in efforts for Amateurs who live in deed-restricted communities to build and maintain antennas that support Amateur radio communication. This bill will now be submitted to the US Senate. Amateurs are urged to contact your Senator and let your voice be heard regarding this bill to ensure we can give maximum exposure for this bill to pass. More information about HR 1301 can be found on the homepage of
