Southwest Missouri Amateur Radio Club

Just to get you fired up for next months meeting: On April 20th, we will be providing a kit for everyone who attends to build. If you do not have a kit of your own to bring, no worries. If you are a beginner working with circuits no worry. The kits we are providing are simple and functional! There will be plenty of seasoned circuit builders there to help.
If you are experienced with circuitry and would like to bring a current project to work on and show off, please do so. If you would like to show up with a soldering iron and help the newbies, please do!
If none of these appeal to you, there are plenty of other offerings at the Hendrick’s and Four State sites (Small Wonder Labs only has the RockMite). Or Google for “ham radio kits”. You’re bound to find something that peaks your interest.
So get your kits ordered, or grab that schematic and your junk box, and let’s make some smoke and melt some solder!

OARS Hamfest (tomorrow)
April 13th 8am – 2pm
will be held in Aurora at Pate School. Make sure you mark your calendar and email all your friends. Associated Radio, D&L antennas and others will be there. Along
